In addition to being the Artistic Director and Founder of Makeshift Theatre Company, Andrew has an Associate’s Degree in Performance from the K. D. Actors Conservatory in Dallas, Texas and a B.A. in Theatre from The University of the Ozarks in Clarksville, Arkansas. While at Ozarks, Andrew began working in children's theatre; he has won national recognition for his costume designs and has had his designs displayed at the Kennedy Center in Washington, D.C. He also toured with RAGGS Kids Club for two years around the United States as a live performer in their stage show. He was featured in their RAGGS Pawsuuup Tour video, which was nominated for two Emmys. Andrew has also been an improv and creative dramatics instructor for children and teens, and an active performer and fight director at Foothills Children's Theatre in Worcester for three years, playing villains too numerous to mention. Recently, Andrew directs for the Summer Broadway Boot Camp at Riverside Theatre Works. Between his personal acting and directing commitments and his duties at Makeshift, Andrew still manages to find the time to organize the summer whiffleball games amongst the staff at Makeshift.
